To His August Majestie's Councillor-General GREETING and the King's Peace!

Inasmuch as it is our bounden duty and service as Lady and Lord Commissioner for the Execution of the Office of Lord Great Steward of Gondor and Arnor for divers reasons and in accordance with an Act of the Twenty-fourth Council-General to summon the King 's Council-General to confer and consider certain important matters affecting the Realms and

Whereas by virtue of our Commission we are empowered to summon the King's Council-General,

NOW THEREFORE WE ELIZABETH Duchess of Belfalas Lady President of the King's Councils and EUGENE Marquess of Mirkwood Lord High Chancellor and Keeper of the Great Seal Lady and Lord Commissioner for the Execution of the Office of Lord Great Steward of Gondor and Arnor in view of circumstances the which we will set before you at the time and the place hereinafter to be named request you by the faith you bear to the Crown enjoining you to be yourself personally present at the Pappas Residence, 14 Copeland Drive in the City of Bedford and State of Massachusetts at two of the clock in the afternoon upon Sunday the thirteenth day of July and there to treat and have conference with the great men and women and peers of the Realms, in which you failing, we require you to show cause why you should by the said Council-General be excused.

And all of these things the weightiness of the said affairs and imminent perils considered as you regard the safety and defense of these Realms of Gondor and Arnor and the security of all of Middle-earth in no wise do you omit.

Given at Esgaroth-upon-the-Long-Lake this second day of the month of June in the seven thousand five hundred and fiftieth year of this Fourth Age of Middle-earth.
