A Resolution on The Starkhorn Bequest

Proposed by His Grace, the Duke of Numenor, Regent

WHEREAS the Right Honourable Dame Andre Norton, Countess of Forlindon, Baroness Forlond, Dame of the Most Noble Order of the Flame of Anor, will observe on 4 Gwaeron of this year her ninetieth birthday, and

WHEREAS the Council-General, meeting at the World Science Fiction Convention, notes that the said Andre Countess of Forlindon has been honoured with the Grand Master of Fantasy Award (the Gandalf), the Nebula Grand Master Award, the First Fandom Hall of Fame Award, and membership in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, and

WHEREAS the said Right Honourable Countess has founded an eleemosynary or charitable foundation incorporated under the name of the High Hallack Genre Writers' Research and Reference Library,

Now Therefore Be it resolved by the Peers of the Realms and other Representatives of the true and faithful subjects of His August Majestie the King of Gondor and Arnor in Council-General assembled that the Starkhorn Bequest for this present year be directed to the High Hallack library, in honour of Andre Countess of Forlindon.
